This set contains:
- 10 replacement sealing rings made of silicone for the GAMMA capsule
A sealing ring is required to use the GAMMA capsule with Nespresso® machines. It seals the capsule holder of the machine and prevents water to leak into your coffee cup.
The sealing ring is applied to the capsule as follows:
- Close the empty capsule with the lid tightly.
- Role the sealing ring carefully from the smaller end of the capsule towards the lid so that the sealing ring rests on the outer rim of the lid.
- When cleaning the capsule with clear water (no detergent required), the sealing ring does not have to be removed after every use.
How to apply the sealing ring >>
Description
For most Nespresso machines (manufactured after 2010) a sealing ring must be applied to the capsule in order to seal the capsule holder. With each capsule two sealing rings are provided. This set of 10 sealing rings is a pack of spare parts.
The sealing ring is best rolled onto the closed capsule until it rests on the rim of the lid, as demonstrated in this video
You can leave the cover the seal ring after brewing and cleaning the capsule. The sealing ring should be removed only if you want to clean the capsule in the dishwasher or with abrasives. Each seal ring holds so for at least 500 applications.
