For an optimal brewing result:

Fill the capsule to the rim or slightly heaped with coffee of your own choice, coffee ground fine to very fine.

Remove any remaining coffee from the edge of the capsule and press down the lid with your flat hand so that the ground coffee is tamped. Make sure the lid rests flush on the capsule.

Insert the capsule into the capsule holder or the opening of the machine, start the machine and stop at the desired coffee length.

The PET filter is placed at the bottom of the pod before re-filling the capsule. This filter should be exchanged after 500 applications. This set includes 2 PET filters, but you can also utilize a used Cafissimo/Caffitaly capsule: before discarding a used Cafissimo/Caffitaly capsule, remove the lower filter and re-use it with RIUS.
